His nose is allergic to cold temperature.

While the AC does a fantastic job of cooling my room and removing muggy air, it does make the air a little too dry. I often wake up in the morning with a highly irritated nose and throat because of it. Will my AC burn out or be overworked if I run a humidifier while I sleep?

My 5 year old gets stuffy at night a lot and she is constantly trying to blow her nose but nothing comes out. She has a fairly nice size bedroom so I put the warm mist vaporizer on one side of the room and the cool mist humidifier on the other end. Am I doing more harm than good?
